Willing to give a try to ice skating. Where can I get 2nd hand / cheap skates for the little kids in Helsinki?

comment from our experiences: good skates help your kids (and yourself) learn faster. we bought cheap ones twice before learning. it's all about how well the skates support the ankles and cheap ones do not support enough in right places. so we bought the skates from specialist shop and it was well worth it. but if you insist, you should go through the fleamarkets (or "kirpputori"), they typically have at least some with reasonable price. or prisma as well.
@jupsis I was thinking of decent/good stuff for the parents and something that is good-but-2nd-hand for the kids (2 and 4 years old) since their feet grow faster than our salaries.
Now I'm disappointed with the termometer since it's been a +1 or so far some days and therefore the lakes in the Helsinki area are not very trustable. Wondering whether things are colder in e.g. Lahti?
@qgil you can go to artificial skating rinks -- one of them in Helsinki next to railway station (what we call Rautatientori actually), the other one I know is in Kallio not far from Stone Church, etc ... Funny enough, I don't remember do we have them in our bleloved Leppävaara... Maybe we should ask Sello to get "iced" at least part of parking on rooftop ;)
There is also a skating ring /no entrance fee/ in Lauttasaari, next to the motorway, close to the water. Go there when it's dark and noone sees you falling.
@qgil lahti actually is few degrees colder. but still we go indoors for skating a there are free public skating few hours every week (like 10 am on Sundays) as the conditions are much more even.

I know, I know but a) lakes are more beautiful and b) there is less people looking at me falling on my butt again and again.

also, ice on lakes are often uneven and can make the learning experience quite horrible.

Ok, ok. I'll have to face the reality and go over this teenager complex...

Actually I remembered that just 1km away from home there was http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=embed&hl=ca&geocode=&q=Pit%C3%A4j%C3%A4nm%C3%A4ki.+Turkismiehentie+7,+Helsinki&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=29.772081,81.386719&ie=UTF8&t=h&ll=60.230821,24.864035&spn=0.027103,0.038795&z=14&iwloc=cent
Free & totally casual. We went already twice. Cool! (and hard) :)
Thanks for all the input. Mission completed. Now I just have to learn to move faster than walking.
